Amidst the growing trend of electric vehicles in the country, TVS has cut the prices of its iQube scooter drastically. Not only this, now it will get a great upgrade in both battery and range. The company has cut the prices of the scooter by ₹ 28,000 in one go.
Bumper cut
TVS has announced a big cut in the prices of the S and ST variants of its popular electric scooter iQube. Now the price of the base iQube model has come down to ₹ 1.09 lakh, with a direct discount of ₹ 18,000. At the same time, the price of iQube S has gone up to ₹ 1.18 lakh, which is ₹ 26,000 cheaper than before.
The price of iQube ST (3.5kWh) has been cut the most by ₹ 28,000, and it is now available for ₹ 1.28 lakh. Not only this, the price of the top variant of ST i.e. the model with 5.3kWh battery has now gone up to ₹ 1.60 lakh, which was earlier ₹ 1.85 lakh. That is, here too there is a huge saving of ₹ 25,000.
Battery upgrade
TVS has not only reduced the price but also increased the battery capacity of the scooter. Now the base iQube, iQube S and ST (3.5kWh) variants have received a 0.1kWh increase in battery capacity, making them 3.5kWh. With this upgrade, the company claims that the IDC range of these variants has now reached 145 km, which is perfect for everyday use.
The top ST variant now gets a 5.3kWh battery, up from the earlier 5.1kWh battery. This has increased the range by 212 km. Two days of ride on a single charge? That’s fun.
