Kia India has recently launched its new MPV, Kia Carens Clavis in the Indian market. With this, the company has not discontinued the old Carens, but has discontinued most of its variants. Now Carens will be available only in Premium (O) trim with petrol and diesel engine options.

Features

Carens Premium (O) has features that make it a great option in its category. In this, you will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Apart from this, luxury features like digital instrument cluster, cruise control and 64-color ambient lighting have been given in it.

If you drive in summer, then ventilated front seats will make your experience even better. At the same time, the single-pane sunroof gives this car an even more premium feel.

Engine & Transmission Options

Now let’s talk about its biggest strength i.e. its engine options. The company offers three types of engines in Kia Carens:

• 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine
• 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine
• 1.5-litre diesel engine

With these engines, you get the option of manual gearbox as well as automatic transmission, so you can choose according to your driving style.

Now that there is only one variant left, it is even more important to know the price. The ex-showroom price of the Carens Premium (O) starts at Rs 11.41 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.16 lakh, depending on the engine and transmission combination.
