Nissan is making a comeback in the market with its sixth generation Micra EV. Battery Options

The new Micra EV will have two battery variants designed keeping in mind different needs. The first variant will have a 40kWh battery that will produce 122hp of power and 225Nm of torque. It will have a range of 308KM – perfect for comfortable daily use.

The second variant will come with a 52kWh battery that will produce 150hp of power and 245Nm of torque. And speaking of range, this model will offer a full WLTP range of 408KM! The most important thing is that it supports 100kW DC fast charging and will charge from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Features

Nissan has kept the Micra EV up-to-date not only in terms of looks but also in terms of technology. It has V2L (vehicle-to-load) technology, which allows you to charge your other devices from the car’s battery. Apart from this, it also has features like heat pump & battery temperature control, so that the weather does not affect the performance.

Launch & Price

The Micra EV will be first launched in Europe by the end of 2025. No official announcement has been made yet regarding its launch in India, but given the boom in the EV market, its arrival is quite likely. Talking about the price, this car can come between ₹ 24 lakh to ₹ 26 lakh, which will make it compete directly with entry-level EVs like Tata Tiago EV and Citroen EC3.
