Today, 150cc to 200cc bikes are among the best selling segments in India. Be it a college going boy or a weekend ride enthusiast – bikes in this range have become everyone’s first choice. But the figures that have come out in March 2025 are really surprising. TVS Apache has left all other bikes behind by giving tremendous performance and has captured the number-1 position.

Apache’s great sales

If we talk about March 2025, TVS Apache sold a total of 44,214 units, which was 34,237 units in March 2024 last year. That is, an increase of 29.14% annually. And with this, Apache has become the best-selling bike in the 150cc-200cc segment. Just think, such strong growth is not possible for any ordinary bike.

Bajaj Pulsar became number 2

There was a time when the faces of bike lovers used to light up on hearing the name of Pulsar. But this time Apache won the race. In March 2025, 35,000 units of Bajaj Pulsar were sold, which was 19.56% less than last year. That is, Apache left Pulsar behind, and that too by a good margin.

Honda Unicorn makes a strong comeback

Now let’s talk about the player who was playing a little quiet, but suddenly emerged. Honda Unicorn sold 29,363 units with a year-on-year growth of 52.77%. This figure shows that Unicorn is now again being liked by customers, especially those who value comfort and simplicity.

Falling hold of Yamaha FZ & MT 15

Sales of Yamaha FZ fell by 28.30% and 11,583 units were sold in March. At the same time, sales of Yamaha MT 15 also fell by 15.17% to 9,074 units. These figures show that Yamaha needs to introduce something new and different.
